A teenage boy allegedly fled with Rs six lakhs kept in the cash counter of a bank here, police said today.
The cashier of the main branch of the State Bank of India had left his seat for a while yesterday when the teenager entered the bank and fled with the cash kept in the drawer, DIG, Banda, Gyaneshwar Tewari said.
Police teams are looking into the CCTV footage and efforts are on to identify the culprit.
At the time of the incident, many customers and security staff were present in the bank, the DIG added.
