A 16-year-old boy was found dead inside his school hostel room in suspicious conditions in Kelwada town of Baran district today, an official said.
The deceased, identified as Yashwant Kirad, was a class 10 student in a private school here, SHO of Kelwada police station Vijendra Singh said.
He was a a resident of Khurrakheda in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.
The matter came to light when his roommates tried to wake him up in the morning but there was no response from him, Singh said.
Kirad was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
According to the doctors, silent heart attack is likely to be the reason behind the death as no injury marks on the body were visible. However, the exact cause of the death could not be ascertained.
