Teenager kidnapped twice in a month in Noida

A 14-year-old girl, who was kidnapped last month and rescued by police later, has been abducted again to put pressure over her parent to withdraw the earlier case, from Salarpur village here, police said today.

Salarpur resident Rahmat, in his complaint lodged at Sector 39 police station, alleged that his daughter was kidnapped again on May 15 by accomplices of four kidnappers who are in jail, to put pressure to withdraw the earlier case, an official said.

According to victim's father, Preetam, Jitendra, Radha and Kiran had kidnapped her over some dispute from Bisrakh area on April 20.

Later, Bisrakh police had arrested the four accused, he said in his complaint, adding that relatives of the accused kidnappers were threatening him with dire consequences if the case was not withdrawn.
 

A case has been registered in the matter and a manhunt has been launched to trace the girl, police said.
