Tehsil Diwas, which is observed in all sub-divisions of Uttar Pradesh to redress grievances of people, has been renamed as 'Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas', an official said.
"The grievances coming out at 'Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas' will be disposed off qualitatively and in a time-bound manner," said Principal Secretary (Revenue) Rajneesh Dubey.
"This will also help establishing a direct communication between ordinary citizens and officials," he said.

Instructions has been issued for effective disposal of public grievances in this regard, the official added.
Last month, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had told officials that the day observed as Tehsil Diwas should be considered a Samadhan Diwas for addressing the problems of the people in three days' time.
