A tehsildar of neighbouring Ranga Reddy district was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 15,000.

Rama Hari Prasad, tehsildar of Peddemul Mandal, was caught red-handed by the ACB officials yesterday when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 15,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour.

The amount was recovered from Prasad and he was subsequently arrested, according to a ACB release here today.
