Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Sunday wished people on the occasion of Makara Sankranthi festival which will be celebrated on January 15.
Rao prayed that Telangana be blessed with abundant crops and prosperity, an official release said.
The festival marks the first day of Sun's transit into the Makara (Capricorn).
Sankranti is observed with various social festivities and activities like kite flying, fairs, bonfires etc.
