NRIs from Telangana are upset with the TRS government due to the poor state of civic infrastructure in Hyderabad and other issues, state BJP president K Laxman claimed here today.
"They (NRIs) said they are regretting the family rule and the corruption resembling Congress (in Telangana)," Laxman, who visited the United States and met with Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP), told reporters.
The NRIs are pained over the problems in Hyderabad, including water logging and inundation of low-lying areas even after minor rainfall, traffic woes and pollution, he claimed.

"The state Legislative Assembly session, proposed to begin from October 27, should constructively discuss the problems of farmers and alleged corruption involving ruling party leaders," he said.
Hitting out at AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for reportedly opposing Uttar Pradesh government's plan to install a statue of Lord Ram at Ayodhya, Laxman asked why didn't the Hyderabad MP oppose the Telangana government spending money "in the name of religion".
"Why is Owaisi not questioning the (TRS) government distributing clothes, biryani...on the occasion of festivals," Laxman said.
