Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should sit together and sort out issues with regard to the bifurcation of Hyderabad High Court, maintaining the Centre has no role in it.
"It (the current situation in Telangana with regard to bifurcation of HC) does not reflect any failure on part of the Centre. That allegation is baseless. Both the Chief Ministers (N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao) should sit together and discuss (the issue) and come to a decision," he said at a press conference here.
The Union Minister along with A Narasimha Reddy, Chairman of Bar Council of High Court, earlier met Governor E S L Narasimhan and apprised him of the situation in the backdrop of raging row between the two States over judicial appointments and HC bifurcation.
