Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various issues concerning the southern state.
During the 20-minute meeting, the Chief Minister apprised Singh about the prevailing law and order situation in the state, particularly about the activities of naxals.
Telangana is considered to be one of the worst Maoist-hit state in the country. Most of the top leaderships of the CPI(Maoist), including general secretary Muppalla Lakshmana Rao alias Ganapathy, hail from Telanagana.
