Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said the commitment of policemen who are ready to sacrifice their lives in safeguarding peace and harmony is no less than the services of security personnel on the borders.
According to a release from the CMO, Rao said that towards protecting peace, harmony and security of the people, police personnel with all their integrity and commitment have sacrificed their lives.
"It is no less than that of the services rendered by the border security forces," the release said.
He paid rich tributes to police martyrs on the occasion of police martyrs commemoration day, it added.
Those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of people would certainly live in the hearts of people, Rao said.
