The Telangana government is gearing up to host the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) here on November 28-29, an official said today, adding that it is spending Rs eight crore to ensure its smooth conduct.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka, who is also the advisor to the US President, are scheduled to address the summit, besides top innovation, entrepreneurship, and business leaders.
"She (Ivanka Trump), along with some of her staff, will be staying in the Westin Hotel, located in the Raheja IT Park at Madhapur," Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries and IT, Telangana government, told reporters.

The GES is an annual entrepreneurship gathering which convenes emerging entrepreneurs and investors from around the world.
This year's summit will highlight the theme -- 'Women First, Prosperity for All' -- and focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally, a statement of the US government had earlier said.
