The Haryana government will soon sign a memorandum of understanding with the Telangana government to strengthen cultural ties between the states under the 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' programme.
Addressing a MODI (Making of Developed India) fest Programme organised here, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Telangana was the partner of his state in the Surajkund Mela held in February this year.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat (One India, Great India) scheme wherein one state each year can choose and partner with other state to promote their culture and language.

There are several good things both Telangana and Haryana have and that will attract people of both the states to understand and learn and promote cultural exchange, he said.
Khattar further said a lot of people from Telangana also work in Haryana and "we are also thinking of starting Telugu course in any institute be it University or College in Haryana.
