He reminded Prime Minister Mnamohan Singh that the TDP had made its stand known on the Telangana demand through a letter to the Pranab Mukherjee Committee way back in 2008.
Accusing the Centre of "complicating" the statehood issue, Chandrababu regretted that it had failed to take a call on the issue so far and thereby pushed Andhra Pradesh into a deep crisis.
He accused the Congress and the TRS of trying to gain political mileage out of the Telangana issue.
