The by-election to Narayankhed assembly constituency seat in Medak district of Telangana will be held tomorrow.
The election was necessitated following the death of the sitting Congress MLA Patlolla Krishna Reddy, popularly known as Kishta Reddy.
Although eight candidates are in the fray, the main contenders are TRS, Congress and TDP.

Ruling TRS candidate Bhupal Reddy is pitted against his own brother and TDP candidate Vijaypal Reddy, while Congress has fielded Sanjeev Reddy, son of the deceased MLA, as its nominee.
Interestingly, the Reddy brothers-- Bhupal and Vijaypal-- are contesting election for this assembly seat for the third time consecutively. They had fought elections in 2009 and 2014 as candidates of the same parties, although both of them had failed to register a victory.
Narayankhed assembly constituency consists of Narayankhed, Kangti, Manoor and Shankrampet- a mandal and has total 1,88,839 voters, of which 97,772 are men, 93,040 women, and 27 other voters.
Voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm at 486 polling stations and all the arrangements for the bypoll have been completed by the district administration as well as the Election Commission.
Police have put in place elaborate security arrangements and five major check points have been set up at the entry points in the constituency. Six contingents of central security forces have been deployed.
The counting of votes will be held on February 16 at Polytechnic College campus Narayankhed and results are expected by 12 noon.
