Pitching for the formation of separate Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Damodhar Raja Narashima today said there is no second opinion about the matter and the state will be formed soon.
"Telangana will be formed soon and the decision was taken by the Congress High Command. There is no second opinion about it," he told reporters here, a day after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reiterated in Hyderabad that united Andhra Pradesh would be in the interest of all.
The Deputy CM was speaking after offering worship at the Swamimalai Lord Muruga shrine here.
The decision of creating a separate Telangana has led to protests in the non-Telangana regions of Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister had expressed his reservation against bifurcation of the state in the past.
