"I believe television has the biggest fan following and reach to millions of viewers than the films," said Lodha, who was in Singapore for the annual "Hasna Mana Hai" event last night, which was organized by Singapore-based Charkula Art Academy.
"Commitment to television serials have also kept me away from the mainstream Bombay films," he said, adding that he has received a number of offers to act in films though.
Lodha, the 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma' fame, and Kapil Sharma of the 'Comedy Circus' series gave a three-hour comedy performance here, recapping some of the peak moments of the television shows.
Sharma, who would be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer 'Khiladi 786', said, "With the twice a week comedy show, I was not able to give dates to film directors. But now on I will have time to do films."
Sharma said he would also start shooting in November for Sohail Khan's new movie, "Sher Khan".
