The Telugu film industry today mourned the demise of actor-politician Nandamuri Harikrishna who died in a car crash in Telangana's Nalgonda district.
Top actor Mahesh Babu said he was deeply saddened on hearing the news.

"May his soul rest in peace," he tweeted.
Harikrishna's sons Jr NTR and Kalyanram immediately rushed to Kamineni Hospitals, where he was admitted, as soon as they received the news.
Senior actor Jagapathi Babu and ace director Trivikram Srinivas paid homage to the departed soul at the hospital.

"RIP HariKrishna uncle...deeply saddened and shocked..God is Harsh..speechless," actor Manoj Manchu tweeted.
Actors Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Nagarjuna, among others, tweeted their condolences.
Veteran actor Mohan Babu said "I lost my brother Nandamuri HariKrishna today. There is nothing more I can say...a great loss."
Actor and Jena Sena founder Pawan Kalyan also condoled the death.
Harikrishna's body is kept at his residence to enable the public to pay their respects.
Several actors, directors and technicians of the Telugu film industry paid homage.
Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh E S L Narasimhan paid homage and consoled the bereaved family. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao placed a wreath on the body.
State minister for IT and Industries K T Ramarao said the last rites would be performed tomorrow.
