Temp remain normal across WB, Coochbehar gets 68mm rain

Day temperatures in West Bengal remained within normal limits as the weatherman forecast possibility of rain or thunderstorm in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal.

Sriniketan recorded the day's highest temperature in the state at 37.2 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

Bankura, Asansol and Burdwan in Gangetic West Bengal recorded 36.9 deg C, 35.6 deg C and 36.2 deg C, respectively.

The metropolis recorded the day's highest temperature at 35.4 degrees Celsius.

Coochbehar district in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal recorded the day's highest rainfall in the state at 68 mm, the MeT department said.

The weatherman has forecast moderate rain or thunderstorm in parts of Gangetic West Bengal and the districts in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
