Temperature hovers close to normal in Hry & Pb

Maximum temperature across Haryana and Punjab hovered close to normal today where many places were lashed by rains.

Chandigarh recorded a maximum temperature of 36 degress Celsius, the MeT Department said.

Ambala in Haryana was hit by light monsoon rains and recorded a maximum temperature of 35.4 degees Celsius.

Hisar too recieved rains and its maximum temperature settled at 35 degrees Celsius.

In Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala recieved light to moderate rains and recorded maximum temperature of 35 degrees, 34.3 degrees and 36 degrees Celsius respectively.

The MeT Department has forecast possibility of more rains in the states during the next two days.
