The temperature in most parts of Himachal Pradesh rose at least by a notch on Thursday bringing some respite from cold weather, the meteorological department said.
Both, the minimum and the maximum temperatures, recorded an increase of 1-2 degrees Celsius, said Shimla Meteorological Centre director Manmohan Singh.
The hottest location in the state was Una at 29 degrees Celsius, while Bilaspur recorded a high of 28 degrees Celsius, he said.
The mercury rose to 27.6 degrees Celsius in Sundernagar, followed by Solan (27) and Kangra (26.6), Singh said.
Shimla and Dharamshala recorded their respective highs at 19.7 and 16.4 degrees Celsius, he said.
The day temperature was 15.4 degrees Celsius in Manali and 12.3 degrees Celsius each in Dalhousie and Kufri, Singh said.
Kalpa and Keylong recorded a maximum temperature at 7.7 and 4.9 degrees Celsius respectively, he said.

The coldest place in the state was Keylong at minus 1.5 degrees Celsius, while Kalpa recorded a low of minus 0.4 degrees Celsius, Singh added.
The minimum temperature in Manali was 5.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Kufri (6.8), Dalhousie (8) and Shimla (11.9), Singh said.
The Met department has forecast rain and snowfall at isolated places in the high hills of the state on February 18.
