Bihar experienced hot and dry weather today with temperature registering increase in different places.
Gaya was the hottest city in the state with the mercury touching 44.8 degrees Celsius, state Met office bulletin said.
The temple town had recorded 42.3 degree celsius temperature yesterday.

It was 40.6 degrees at Bhagalpur and 37 degrees at Purnea, the bulletin said.
The state is expected to see mainly clear sky tomorrow and there would be no let up in the summer heat, the weather office forecast said.
