Temperatures hover around normal levels in Punjab, Haryana

The minimum temperatures today continued to hover near the normal level at most places in Punjab and Haryana.

In Haryana, Ambala recorded a low of 9.9 degrees Celsius, up one degree than normal, a MeT Department report said here.

Narnaul and Bhiwani recorded respective minimum temperatures of 8.6 degrees Celsius and 10.2 degrees Celsius, up by one and two degrees each.

Hisar, however, had a cold night at 6.7 degrees Celsius, down three notches than normal level.

Chandigarh recorded a low of 11.7 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 8.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal while Patiala and Ludhiana recorded minimum temperatures of 8.8 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperatures hovered between 23 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius in most parts of Punjab and Haryana.

The MeT department has predicted dry weather conditions in the two states until tomorrow.
