Temperatures soar in Rajasthan

Temperatures soared in parts of Rajasthan with Phalodi being the hottest place even as the weatherman has predicted no respite to the people till tomorrow.

Phalodi recorded a maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius followed by Barmer at 45.4 degrees.

Heat conditions also intensified in other parts of the desert state where Jaisalmer, Churu, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Kota recorded maximum of 44.7, 44.5, 44.4, 44.3 and 44.2 degrees Celsius respectively.

Sriganganagar, Jaipur and Ajmer recorded a maximum of 43.1, 41.6 and 41.9 degrees Celsius, according to MeT department.
