Chandigarh recorded a high of 34.3 degrees celsius as the weather remained dry after rain lashed the city for the past two days.
In Haryana, the maximum in Ambala and Hisar settled at 34.4 and 34 degrees respectively, the weather office said.
In Punjab, Amritsar and Ludhiana recorded highs of 32.8 and 33.2 degrees celsius respectively.
Patiala registered a maximum of 34.6 degrees celsius.
