Ten persons were arrested after police raided a gambling den in Shastri Nagar area of the district, police today said.
On a tip-off that Baccha, a history-sheeter, and his brother Rajkumar were running a gambling den, police raided their house and arrested ten persons, including Rajkumar, Swarupnagar CO Aatish Singh said.
Several people managed to flee from the spot in the ensuing confusion and a search is on to nab them, Singh said.
Rs 27,000 and eight mobile phones have been recovered from the house, police said, adding, the case is under investigation, the CO said.
