Ten children injured as tempo overturns in Nagaur

Ten school children were today injured when a tempo carrying them overturned at Jajolai-Nadi locality in Rajasthan's Nagaur city, the police said here.

The children in the age group of 8 to 12 years were rushed to a government hospital in Nagaur, the police said.

Many of them were discharged and handed over to their parents after first aid, they said.

Children were going in the private tempo from their village Dukasi to Koyal School in Nagaur when the vehicle turned upside down due to a damaged muddy road, they said.

Driver fled the scene leaving the children on the roadside after the mishap, they said.
