Essel Group-backed Ten Sports today unveiled a new network logo for the broadcasting organisation as it seeks to build a fresh identity and connects with youth.

The network launch is the first phase of the re-branding exercise where all existing channels are being consolidated under the umbrella of Ten Sports Network.

The new logo displays elements of speed and dynamism and retains the flame as a dominant theme that has stayed with the channel since its launch.

"The new network logo flaunts the elements of speed and dynamism which is reflected from the sporty font style, while retaining the flame as a leitmotif that has stayed with the channel from the very beginning. The new logo reflects a fresh identity and builds an instant youth connect with the brand," Ten Sports said in a statement here.

Ten Sports Network currently has eight channels across 150 million households in over 20 countries.

"It is a step forward in consolidating all the channels under a uniform network and project the organisation value to strive further, break new grounds, surpass our limits and achieve the unattained," Ten Sports Chief Executive Rajesh Sethi said.

Ten Sports is airing the ongoing India-Zimbabwe ODI series.
