Ten women pickpockets have been apprehended for allegedly trying to steal the belongings of a commuter on the Delhi Metro here.

Officials said the incident was reported yesterday from the Vidhan Sabha station at about 4:00 PM when a 25-year-old man detected that few women standing next to him on the platform were trying to steal his costly mobile phone and other stuff.

The commuter soon alerted a CISF official on duty and with his help the entire gang of the ten women pickpockets was apprehended, they said.

"The women were later handed over to Delhi Police," they added.
