Tension erupted in Hasanpura area of the city over an interfaith marriage today, after the woman's relatives hurled stones at her husband's home, police said.
Sadar police station SHO Hemraj said on July 30, the family of Sahalia had complained that she has been abducted by Manish, who stays in the same neighbourhood. A case was then registered against him.
The woman was recovered today by the police who then took her and Manish to the police station. In the meantime, her relatives and family members pelted his house with stones, he said.
As a police team was already present at the spot, the situation could be brought under control soon, the SHO said.
Three stone pelters identified as Imran Khan, Nadeem and Shahrukh were arrested under section 151 of CrPC, he said.
The woman was presented before a magistrate where she stated that Manish was her husband and she wished to live with him so the couple was allowed to leave together, he said.

Another police officer said the couple had eloped on the night of July 29 and got married in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, after which they returned to Jaipur.
Their houses are located in the same lane in Hasanpura. When she eloped with him on July 29, the family of the girl lodged a complaint of abduction, ASI Rameshwar Lal said.
