Tension in village after murder of three persons

Tension prevailed in Bahadurpur village here after three labourers were killed by unidentified miscreants, police said today.

The incident occurred last night under Sikhera police station, when the victims were returning home from factory, SSP H N Singh told PTI here today.

The three have been identified as Surender(25), Kunwerpal (27) and Sunder (21).

Their bodies, which sustained injuries from sharp-edged weapons, have been sent for postmortem, police said.

Meanwhile, an irate mob today protested against the incident and blocked the Bahadurpur-Jansath road for several hours. The villagers alleged that four other persons are also missing from the village since last night, police said.
 

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and security has been tightened in the area, police said, adding search operations are on to nab the culprits.
