Tenure of five independent directors of NBCC ends

State-owned National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) today said the company's five independent directors have ceased to be on the board after their tenure ended yesterday.

In a filing to the BSE, NBCC said that the tenure of five part time non-official Directors -- K L Mehrotra, Brijeshwar Singh, S C Saraf, K C Iyer and V K Gupta -- on the company's board ended on December 4, 2014.

NBCC, which was established as a government of India enterprise in the year 1960, is engaged into project management consultancy, real estate development and EPC contracting.

Shares of NBCC ended at Rs 879.10, up 0.17 per cent on the BSE.
