Actress Teri Hatcher's expensive racing bike was stolen from a local repair shop.
The 50-year-old "Desperate Housewives" star gave her USD 1000 bike for a repair two weeks ago when the theft occurred, reported TMZ.
One of the shop's employees parked the bike outside the shop for a few minutes and returned to find out that it was not there.
The repair shop's owner has given his word to compensate the loss and purchase a new bike for Hatcher.
