The Territorial Army Group Headquarters today celebrated the 65th Territorial Army Day at Chandimandir military station near here today.
The event was attended by Lt General K J Singh, the Army Commander of Western Command, and senior officers of Western Command headquarters, an official spokesman said.
A number of serving Territorial Army officers and veterans graced the occasion. Veterans shared their experience with the current officers.

The Territorial Army is providing citizens aged between 18 and 42 an opportunity to serve the nation and be a part of the Indian Armed Forces.
Aspirants once selected have to serve a minimum of two months every year to maintain their level of training and performance.
Territorial Army includes officers and men from many different walks of life such as ministers, civil servants, corporate heads, sports personalities, doctors, engineers, all of whom have donned the uniform to better serve their country beyond their primary vocation, the spokesman said.
