Panun Kashmir, an organisation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits, today said the terror attack on the CRPF camp in Srinagar is a serious policy failure.

"Terror attack on the CRPF camp in the Valley is not only a serious security failure but also a serious policy failure as well," Panun Kashmir president Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said at a youth workshop on Kashmir situation here.

He said the situation emerging in consequence of the terror attack has assumed alarming proportions and unless the government evolves plans to stop terrorist infiltration from Pakistan, lifting of AFSPA from the state will be a Himalayan blunder.

Two terrorists disguised as cricketers stormed a CRPF camp near a school at Bemina in Srinagar yesterday, killing five of its personnel in a major suicide attack in the city after a gap of three years in which the militants were suspected to be from Pakistan.
