Terror bid foiled in Pakistan

A terror attack was foiled by Pakistani authorities when they defused a bomb near a graveyard here ahead of a burial in which thousands of people were expected to attend.

Police received information of a bomb planted along the route of Rehman Baba graveyard and defused the one and a half kilogramme of explosives.

Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) rushed to the site and defused the bomb.

More than 20 people were killed when Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists attacked a Shiite mosque here last Friday.

The country is still grieving over the Taliban attack on Army Public School in which 150 people, mostly children were killed.
