A Rayees was arrested by Kerala police in Mumbai on Saturday when he arrived from Saudi Arabia on his deportation after being jailed in connection with visa violation case.
He was brought to Thalassery yesterday and produced before Chief Judicial Magistrate C S Sudha who remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days.
Rayees and Nazir along with three others are arraigned as accused in the case relating to seizure of ammonium nitrate from a house at Chakkarakkal in the district in 2009.
Nazir, the prime accused in the case, is already under judicial custody and is facing several other terror cases.
