A court here today extended to December 16, the judicial custody of terror suspects 'Police' Fakruddin and Bilal Malik, arrested in connection with the murder of a local BJP functionary at nearby Paramakudi in March.
The two told the Judicial Magistrate Veluchamy that they were not ill-treated and were given food in jail. However police had taken their signature on some blank papers, they alleged.
They said they are lodged in isolated cells, which scared them, following which the magistrate directed that they be lodged at Vellore Prison.

On November 25, the court had remanded them to the custody of CB-CID for seven days for investigation in the case.
Veluswamy had passed the order on a petition by CB-CID seeking 10 day custody of the two, arrested in October in connection with various cases, including the Advani pipe bomb case and murder of BJP and Hindu outfit leaders in Tamil Nadu.
The Assistant Public Prosecutor had said the accused had confessed to have killed Murugan, a former BJP municipal councillor, on March 19 and custodial interrogation was required to investigate the matter further.
However, the duo claimed they had confessed under pressure from Police.
The magistrate had directed police to produce the two in the court today. He also said police could allow their relatives and advocates to meet them.
