Texmaco Rail and Engineering Co Ltd today reported a net profit of Rs 3.32 crore, down by 44 per cent for Q2 period ended September, compared to Rs 5.93 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Net sales were almost flat at Rs 122.75 crore for the quarter under review.
Performance had improved from Q1 of the 2014-15 after the company secured order for 974 special type wagons worth Rs 387 crore from the Ministry of Defence and some other orders, Texmaco Executive Director D H Kela said.
