The proposed new Municipal Act and other issues are expected to be deliberated at a meeting of the Telangana Cabinet to be held on July 17.
The meeting would begin at 4 PM on July 17, official sources said Monday.
The meeting comes a day ahead of a special session of the legislature to be held on July 18 and 19 to pass the new Municipal Act.
It would be a special session only to consider and pass the Municipal Act and there will not be any other business like questions and answers, an official release had said.
The municipal elections are likely to be held during the first week of August, it said.
