Urging the Sena patriarch not to indulge in political statements, he said Congress honoured the master blaster by nominating him to the Rajya Sabha.
The Sena chief, while reacting to Tendulkar's nomination to Rajya Sabha, had said on Sunday that it was the 'dirtiest play' of Congress.
