A Thai Airways flight was forced to make an emergency landing at an airport in the capital city today after it encountered problems with its landing gear.
Flight TG 281, heading to the popular tourist resort island of Koh Samui, had to return to Bangkok International Airport and made an emergency landing, airport director Raweewan Netarakavesana said.
The plane took off at 07:45 am local time but had to turn back after the captain realised problems with the landing gear.

Passengers were accommodated to another flight, Raweewan said adding that engineers were inspecting the plane's landing gear.
