Ending anxiety in Congress led UDF camp, the nomination paper of party nominee and Union Minister Shashi Tharoor was today accepted in Thiruvananthapuram constituency for the April 10 Lok Sabha polls in the state.
The nomination when taken up for scrutiny was posted for further hearing following objections raised by the poll agent of LDF candidate yesterday stating Tharoor has not included all his assets in the affidavit filed by him.
Chief Electoral office sources said that nomination of Tharoor was accepted today.

Tomorrow is the last date for withdrawal of nomination.
According to Chief Electoral Officer, total number of nomination papers received for the 20 Lok Sabha seats in the state was 328.
Other prominent persons whose nomination papers were found in order after scrutiny include Union Ministers Mullapally Ramachandran (Vadakara), E Ahmed (Malalppuram), former Union Minister and SJD State President M P Veerendrakumar (Palakkad) senior congress leader P C Chacko (Chalakuddy) CPI-M sitting MPs M B Rajesh (Palakkad),P K Biju (Alathur), CPI-M politburo member M A Baby and RSP leader N K Premachandran, both from Kollam.
