TV series 'The Carrie Diaries', which was the prequel to 'Sex and the City' will end after its two season stint.

The show, which starred Anna Sophia Robb as a young Carrie Bradshaw, has a strong initial fan base, it was not large enough to be renewed for a third season, reported Deadline.

Another show 'The Tomorrow People', which was adapted from a popular British series, will not be given a second season after struggling to find a consistent audience.

Robbie Amell, Peyton List and Luke Mitchell starred in 'The Tomorrow People' as a group of young people who have gained psychic abilities due to human evolution.
