The first Qawali gharana music in Bengali film

Introducing 'Qawali' gharana music, in the soundscape, for the first time in Bengali films, popular contemporary singing icon Anupam Roy says though not a hard-core musical, Window Connection will be nothing without songs.

"The sone 'Kagoze Magoze' (embedded in papers and in mind) can be described as Bengali lyric bathed in Sufi-Qawali style. It is typical Qawali gharana . You can define it as the first Bengali-Qawali playback," the Autograph singer told PTI. "I will term it as my best ever in a sense, or one of the best," as the music director and lyricist of the Black Magic World Entertainment Production which is studded with renditions by Rupam Islam and Anupam, Ujjaini , Anupam, catapulted to fame with first blockbuster arthouse film Autograph, said.
 

Calling 'Window Connection' as an "Outlet for the younger male protagonist Rahul (Mishawr Rawhoshyo actor Ariyan), to reach out his woman of fantasy," Moinak Bhowmik's Bedroom actor Tanusree said, "The film is more of a peek into human mindset."

Director Raj Kumar Gupta said, "The name in my first Bengali film can be described as a window to the page three world for one character."

"It is a dark film and yes the title refers to the global element as social networks have bridged the world never than before. So is entertainment.
