The Mullaiperiyar dam level touched
a record 140 feet(Max 142ft) this evening following heavy rains in the catchment areas ,PWD officials said.
They said the inflow into the dam 2555cusecs and the discharge from the dam was 511 cusecs.The
The vaigai dam level also touched 66.50ft(max71ft)feet this evening with the inflow into the dam at 2266 cusecs.Thedischarge from the dam was 3560 cusecs.
