The prices of tur,urad and moong dal

decreased while gram dal and wheat increased in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

Tur and moong dal went down by Rs 600 and Rs 300 per quintal each to Rs.11,200 and Rs.7,200 from yesterdays rate of Rs.11,800 and Rs.7,500 respectively.

Likewise, urad declined by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.10,800 from Rs.11,000.

In contrast, gram dal and wheat rose by Rs.200 and Rs.50 per quintal each to Rs.12,200 and Rs.2,950 from yesterdays rate of Rs.12,000 and Rs.2,900, respectively.

However, Rest all other commodities ruled steady in the market.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Tur Dal Rs 11,200, Urad Dal Rs 10,800, Moong Dal Rs 7,200, Gram Dal Rs 12,200, Sugar Rs 3,900, Wheat Rs 2,950, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
