Girl band The Saturdays have reportedly been told to put more drama into their US TV reality show or it will be dropped.

'Chasing The Saturdays' premiered in January, but it has not exactly set the world alight across the pond.

Now, TV executives have given the girls, who are currently celebrating their first Number 1 single 'What About Us', a last-chance ultimatum to boost the ratings, reported Daily Star.

"They have been told that if they give the cameras better access to their private lives, the planned second series may be saved from the axe. The executives like the series, but viewing figures have not been as amazing as predicted," a source said.

"Bosses think if they could get the first exclusive footage of Rochelle and Marvin Humes's baby in May, that could pull in more viewers for them.

"They would also like Frankie Sandford to convince her football player boyfriend Wayne Bridge, to get involved too," the source added.
