The top leaders have agreed to hold next round of meeting

tomorrow before formally announcing the election government and decide matters relating to the shape and size of the cabinet along with the rules and modality of the proposed Constituent Assembly elections. "There are some differences on issues related to voters' list and citizenship, among others. However we have agreed to form a Chief Justice-led election government that will conduct election within mid-June (Jestha)," CPN-UML senior leader Bamdev Gautam said after the meeting. An eight-member task force formed by the major parties had recommended to form an election government under Chief Justice and proposed mid-June for the Constituent Assembly elections. The proposal was then forwarded to top leaders of the political parties. However, before formally announcing the election government and date of the election, the decision will be forwarded to a joint meeting of all the political parties represented in the dissolved Constituent Assembly tomorrow for endorsement.
