"The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott Gimple says the possibility of a big screen movie is high.
"That question comes up every now and again.I'm sure one way or another, one day, it'll happen. I think it would be cool," Gimple said.
But he may cast big names for the movie versions of the AMC zombie series characters, reported The Wrap.
"William Shatner as Rick. We'll get Edward James Olmos as Daryl. Hit all the big shows! Matthew Fox as the Governor!" Gimple joked.
However, the hit show is nowhere near a series-ending movie. AMC recently renewed the show for an eighth season, and it's still one of the most popular shows on TV.
