her husband was having an illicit relationship and when she confronted him, he threatened her with divorce and shifted to a hotel.
He left her with no option but to return alone to her matrimonial house in Noida where she has been living separately from the family since then, she said.
She also claimed that her husband is drawing Rs six lakh monthly salary besides free accomodation whereas she is confined at home due to her ill-health.
The husband on the other hand denied having neglected her ever.
While deciding the case in favour of the woman, the court held that she had not willingly deserted her husband and was also unemployed.
 
"Considering the salary/income of respondent and the fact that he has also to support his old-aged mother and petitioner is already comfortably residing in her matrimonial house, he is directed to pay Rs two lakh per month as maintenance," the magistrate said.
